Operation
It was found out on Saturday afternoon that Granny had cancer. As recommended by the doctor, she underwent a scope into her stomach and found out that there are cancerous cells located somewhere near her rectum.
When we learnt about the news, all of us were lost upon receiving the news from the doctor after the scope. We were all thinking that granny is so old now and still have to go through all these suffering. During the scope, she also underwent a couple of tests and scans. Thank GOD that her cancer is intact in her large intestine and the doctor strongly recommends her to undergo a surgery before its spreads.
We were all really worried if her body can undergo the surgery. She is 88 years old after all. Thank GOD that the tests she undergo shows that she is very strong and hardy. =) As compared to any of us; youngsters.
We only had a few hours to make the decision as it is better to rectify the problem earlier so that she wouldn’t have to undergo the pain and suffering again. We really spent a lot of time going through all the possible scenarios and consulted the surgeon for the answers. He is really confident that granny operation will be success; <95% chance.
Upon receiving the answers from him, we came to a conclusion to let granny go for the surgery. We are really convinced by the surgeon and have trust in him. Of course we also pray hard for granny safety as we know that FATHER will shower her with blessings and place His healing hands on her.
